 National Ghost Hunters

So Harpers Ferry was our first ghost hunting trip it was in the month of October. Unfortunately we found out to late about the last room in the Bed and Breakfast where everyone else was staying, I was hoping that I could still find a room (due to the rooms were going fast it was Halloween Weekend).  I made a call to the to the "Jackson Rose" Bed and Breakfast they had one room left, it wasn't till I went on line and found out that this B&B is where the Lee family lived and where General Stone Wall Jackson used as his temporary Headquarters during the war between the states (Civil War).

 My wife and I left our room to meet up with the rest of the group, after socializing a while it was getting dark so we decided to walk down to the center of town which was a very steep decline, as we approached the fire building John Brown held up in, one of the female members heard something to her left on a small hill, turned and took a couple of digital pictures, to all of our amazements she caught a transparent figure standing there. 

Talk about the hairs standing up that was one of those moments I experienced, mind you I was standing next to her when she took the photo, she said oh my god look as this, I came closer and looked at the small viewing screen on her camera there was a apparition in mist, I immediately looked up from her camera and looked to the top of the hill, I saw absolutely nothing there, but it was in the camera.  I will get that photo from her and put it here for all to see. 

Another strange experience was when my wife and I met up with the group to go out to dinner together, so before it got to dark we decided to take a group picture.  there was a cat which slept on the porch he was not allowed to come into the house.  He sort of adopted us  so one of the members said "How about if we take a picture with the cat". So Chic said I will hold the cat when you take the picture, there were 5 couples there and each had a camera, so we ask that a photo be taken with each of our cameras. 

The one taking the picture would try and take the picture with each of the cameras, believe this or not not one of the cameras worked.  Just at that moment the cat jumped out of Chic's arms and the  the camera clicked so someone said hey hurry up and get the cat the camera is working, so the cat was picked up again for the photo, guess what the cameras stopped working once again. 

 
NEXT MORNING

The following morning my wife and I went down to the dinning room for our breakfast, we met the first of the two couples, we all introduced ourselves to each other.  And just carried on small talk,  when the the second couple came into the room we said Our "Good mornings" the first couple introduced them selves by name my wife and I told them our names and then wife of the second couple mentioned her name and the husband said; "Hi my name is Stewart" and he sat down with coffee and all of us gave a little history about ourselves telling where we were from and what type of work we did.

I spoke up and said, "tell me Stewart what type of work do you do"

"Stewart" "My name isn't Stewart"

I looked at my wife, she looked at me then both of us looked at the first couple in total surprise, The first couple together said to my wife and me "We heard him say Stewart, didn't you"?

My wife and I replied at the same time, "Yes we did, we heard him Say Stewart"

If I were the only one who heard it then I would have thought it was just me, but when three other people heard it then it causes me to wonder.

That was three different experiences that I was a witness too.  I know myself I definitely planning to got back there again, do a more detailed investigation.
