January 15th

Three couples arrived in Gettysburg on January 15th Thursday, my wife and I, Chic and Sharon and John and Clare.   The remainder of the group will arrive Friday Evening.  It was beautiful day but Bitter cold.  The sun was shinning and the sky was clear with just a few scattered clouds.  Because of the temperature I didn't know how long we could stay on the battlefield, the temperature was suppose to drop to the single digits, which it did.  We Checked in Larson's (General Lee's Headquarters) about 4:00 p.m.   So my wife and I unpacked and I got all my camera gear ready to go on the Battlefield.  This time of year the park closes at 7:00 p.m. so we don't have a lot of time.  My wife and I stayed in room 148, which we heard from our friends that the room was very active.

I set up a IR camera and DVR to record any activity in the room,  along with a audio recorder to see if I can pick up any EVP's, I managed to go through all the audio that I recorded both at Pickett's Charge and the room we were staying.  with no luck.   I am now going through all the videos to see if I did capture any visiting spirits.  I will indicate it here later when I'm done.  I will keep trying though I am sure that I will get something eventually, I just wasn't lucky enough to get anything yet.

The Photograph's above were taken at Pickett's Charge 1/15/09 about 6:30 a.m.
There were quite a few Orbs out in spite of the extreme cold.

The pictures below were taken at the 10th-39th Pennsylvania Monument where Sharon felt a sadness and depressed felling.   While we were there  it started to snow lightly, I noticed on numerous occasions that when it rains or snows  the spirits get very active, if you look closely the spirits are mixed in with the snow.  The Orbs are rising up from the ground, you can see a streak or tail behind them.  Also they are in various sizes, the first photo the Orb is quite large.  I circled the ones that are Orbs.
