RETURN TRIP
September 27 - 30 2007

Once again as a Group we returned to Gettysburg on Friday night, checked into Larson's (General Lees Headquarters) on Route 30.  Two couples checked into the Buford house across the street.  My goal was to return to the road leading to "Big Round Top" where I encountered the light on the rock where I believe it was in the process of forming a full body apparition. Which stood next to me when I reached the base of "Little Round Top" where Joshua chamberlain fought the Alabama unit.  Unfortunately I didn't have any success finding my friend, We will be returning again in January 18, 19, 20th 2008, General Lees Birthday, When my wife and I arrive we are going to drive to that location first thing and look for that spot during the daylight hours. There is also the possibility that we won't find my soldier friend again (I hope it isn't a once in a life time opportunity.

Most of our members were very successful when we went out on Friday and Saturday night, we went to the Wheatfield and the  triangular field of which Clare took some fantastic photo's which is posted here.  Some of the photo's almost look as though we were traveling through a galaxy of stars, there is colored Ectoplasm is many of the photo's.

                   

       
 

This Photo was the busiest photo of all that was taken, we dressed in our reenacting uniforms we felt that maybe our spirits would feel more comfortable if they felt that they were among friends.  By that photo it looks as though it could be true,  we would not go to to the area where Union Soldiers were predominant on the battle field.
