On our groups visits to Gettysburg we stay at Larson's "General Lees
Headquarters" West on Route 30. Larson's is located right at the
battlefield of the first day battle. This is the first day battle on
July 1st when Lee got word that there was a large company of Federal
troops forming in Gettysburg. Lee's army was marching to Harrisburg
changed his strategy and his direction and started marching south
towards Gettysburg.
Larson's (General Lees Headquarters)
A few of the members of our group had
family and relatives from North Carolina, and served under the colors of
North Carolina. That evening we went to the North Carolina monument and
hoped that we could get some response around the monument, unknowingly
when Mike called out "Is there anyone here from North Carolina" he did
arouse a spirit, we figured the spirit took it as role call. I was
recording audio hoping to get some response from one of the lost
spirits, I didn't get anything had my digital recorder on hoping to
catch some kind of audio response. I didn't get anything but
Mike's wife Dawn did get a digital photograph of an Orb at the rear of
the mini van. We finished taking photo's and decided to return
back to the Buford house where we gathered afterwards.
The spirit came into the house
with us, Chic's Cousin Francine is a psychic she came to visit while we
were in Gettysburg, she felt the presence of the spirit that returned
with us. With the downing rods one of the females of the group through
questions communicated with the spirit and found out he was a young man
from North Carolina his name was John Edward Manning he was the color
bearer, married he had a half sister named Sara. Clare the female member
resembled her and that's why the spirit was comfortable talking through
her. We asked him why he was still here, through his loyalty, he was
concerned about the North Carolina Colors, last he remembers is they
were captured by a Yankee and he didn't want to leave till he knew they
were safe back South. He was assured that they were back in the south
and through help from the group his spirit went to the light and went to
the other side.
Though many don't believe that this is for real, believe me just to feel
the electricity in the room at the time all this took place. It
was a rewarding feeling knowing that we helped a lost spirit go to the
other side. I would not have believed it myself if I didn't see it
and feel it myself.
